There’s no I in It

Karen Bovinich and Ej Hill

March 12th -26th, 2011

There is No I in It features new sculptural, installation and performative works that explore the relationship between the subjective and objective, the internal and external, and what we know and what we believe. Each of these works encourages active participation and regards the viewer as an integral part of the completion of the work. By offering different levels of audience engagement, Bovinich and Hill raise questions about who determines the outcome of the work and ultimately, who authors its meaning.

This show is a part of the ACRE Residency’s exhibitions calendar.
